1. Acceptance

By accessing Monomyth Limited ("Monomyth," "we," "us"), you affirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into agreements under the laws of Taiwan and Hong Kong. Do not use the site if you disagree with these terms.

2. Permitted Use

  • Temporary, non-transferable license for evaluation, procurement, or partnership discussions.
  • No reverse engineering, scraping, or interference with security mechanisms.
  • Do not misrepresent affiliation or use branding without consent.

3. Professional Services

Engagements are governed by separate statements of work. Delivery, jurisdiction, and confidentiality clauses in those agreements supersede this web notice.

4. Compliance & Local Law

  • We comply with Taiwan Civil Code, Personal Data Protection Act, and related regulations.
  • Operations in Hong Kong observe the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and trade regulations.
  • You agree not to use Monomyth services for activities prohibited by the above jurisdictions.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property displayed on this site are owned by Monomyth Limited or its licensors. No license or right is granted except as expressly stated herein.

6. Liability & Warranty

Our site and materials are provided "as-is." We disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted under Taiwan and Hong Kong law. This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monomyth Limited and its partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from site access, use, or outages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Monomyth Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of our services.

9. Updates

We may adjust these terms to reflect regulatory or operational changes. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use 30 days after publication signifies acceptance of updated terms.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Matters relating to Taiwan operations shall be governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.) and fall under Taipei District Court jurisdiction. Hong Kong engagements shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts. We encourage amicable resolution through good-faith negotiation before initiating formal proceedings.

11. Force Majeure

Monomyth Limited shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of government, pandemic, power or telecommunications failure, or cyberattacks.

12. Waiver

No failure or delay by Monomyth Limited in exercising any right under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right. A waiver of any breach shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative.

13. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Monomyth Limited may assign these Terms to any affiliate or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets without your consent.

14. Third Party Rights

These Terms do not confer any rights on any person or party other than you and Monomyth Limited. For the avoidance of doubt, the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong) shall not apply to these Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any separate service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Monomyth Limited regarding use of this site. These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals.

17. Language

These Terms are provided in English and Traditional Chinese. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
